Is NordicTrack C2270 Treadmill available?

Unfortunately, no. NordicTrack has discontinued its manufacturing of this particular model now. As much as I love to share my experience with this particular treadmill, I cannot recommend it as it is not available in the market anymore. But I am not done with the part ‘about sharing my experience’ yet.

NordicTrack has other new treadmills that can surpass the performance of this NordicTrack C2270 model too. So I dived into the rabbit hole and listed the best alternatives for it.

We will discuss the best possible alternatives of NordicTrack C2270 after the replaceable parts section.

Replaceable Parts

This is another amazing thing this treadmill brand offers, replaceable parts. So you don’t have to worry about buying an entirely new treadmill if you face any issues with it.

NordicTrack C2270 Rear Roller

NordicTrack C2270 Rear Roller works as a support for your walking belt and controls its tension. So you will hear a clicking noise if this part causes any issues over time. Use caution while installing this part or call for expert help.

NordicTrack C2270 Treadmill Motor Control Board

NordicTrack manufactured a motor control board for the NordicTrack c2270 model. Use caution while installing it or seek help from an expert or call customer support. This motor control board comes with a 1-year warranty.

NordicTrack C2270 Left Rear Endcap

This replacement part comes with a package dimension of 6 x 6 x 6 inches and 1 pound of weight. Be aware when installing it as you may have to count the exact number of turns required to remove and screw it back. This is helpful to minimize belt adjustment requirements.

NordicTrack C2270 Drive Belt

This part is manufactured by Treadmill Doctor by an automotive factory for automotive performance. The drive belt is the most important part in transferring the power of the motor to move the walking belt. And Treadmill Doctor ensures better quality materials for flexibility and longer life.

NordicTrack T 6.5s Treadmill

NordicTrack c2270 treadmill review

This is another entry-level treadmill just like the NordicTrack C2270 treadmill and a great alternative for home use. Even though this treadmill can serve for light and moderate cardio training, it is not ideal for frequent long-distance running or intense interval workouts, unlike the NordicTrack C2270 model.

But there are lots of similarities between these two models like they both have powerful motors, preloaded programs, iFit coach, wireless connectivity, FlexSelect cushioning, incline and speed rating varieties, and spacious running areas.

This T6.5s model also offers an auxiliary music port and dual 2-inch speakers which is absent on the NordicTrack C2270 model, so if you prefer your treadmill with the speakers, this model might be the one for you.

CONS:

  1. Lack of a cooling fan and a wireless pulse sensor may disappoint you.

NordicTrack Commercial Series 1750

NordicTrack 1750 offers a quiet experience in your short or long-distance running workouts whenever you want and can mimic outdoor road running experience. NordicTrack T Series 7.5S Treadmill

  1. A 7-inch touchscreen display may seem small to some customers. If you are concerned with the compact-sized display on your treadmill, then this particular model is not for you.
  2. iFit ongoing cost after 1st year of ownership.

Why buy a treadmill?

This is a very common question among folks like us who like to work out at home for separate (and several) reasons. I am going to share my perspective on why you should also buy a treadmill and how it will benefit your cause(s).

>> Treadmills are a great piece of equipment to achieve weight loss and fitness goals on your own. Workout routines with treadmills raise your heart rate into the zones in the most appropriate way to burn fats and extra calories without causing any health issues.

>>Treadmills can be used anytime and anywhere in your home environment, thanks to some new advancements to quieter and SpaceSaver design.

>>Most treadmills offer automotive incline or decline and smart cushioning systems to simulate outdoor jogging or running. So you can get a feel of running outside just by using a treadmill at your home.

>>Nowadays treadmills are so sophisticated that they can control your workout intensity by monitoring heart rate!

>>Treadmills can be used by anyone of any age, no matter how young or how old you are. So one or two treadmills should enough for your whole family.

Things to consider before buying any treadmill

There are a few things to consider if you want to get the best deal out of the treadmill and your budget-

Belt Size can be an issue for taller people. So you should consider at least 48 inches long and 18 inches wide treadmill belt for comfortable walking or jogging.

Weight Limit means how durable your treadmill is and as usual, the higher, the better.

Features like iFit, preloaded programs, touchscreen display, incline/decline capacity, cooling fans can make a huge difference with your budget.

Manual vs Motorised is a matter of choice and budget. It is always better to pick motorized treadmills as they have tons of advantages over manual ones.

Warranties are a statement about the quality of the machine. If you can, go for a minimum 5-year motor warranty, and a 2-year replaceable parts warranty.

Comfort is the most important factor before buying any treadmill or buying anything. Always try before you buy.

Maintenance

Pay attention to your treadmill before and after every use. Without proper maintenance, no treadmill will last and behave as it should be. Follow these steps regularly if you want to have uninterrupted and consistent performance out of your treadmill for a longer time-

>>Apply silicone or paraffin-based lubricant to the underside of the treadmill belt, especially where your feet make the most contact, at least once a year. But it is recommended to do this more often.

>>Keep the storage space of your treadmill clean and neat.

>>Check the walking belt and deck for signs of wear.

>>Wipe clean the treadmill with a dry and soft cloth after every use.

>>You can use a floor mat under the treadmill to keep your floor and the treadmill from taking any friction damages.

>>Always keep an eye out for the electric parts of your treadmill. If any part starts acting abnormally, stop the machine right away and investigate the issue. Call customer support if you cannot find any issue.

Is the treadmill a good workout?

A treadmill is a great way for walking, jogging, running, or even sprinting at home. And we all know how good these exercises are for weight loss and burning extra calories.

Is it OK to use the treadmill every day?

It can depend on ages, but an adult can use the treadmill for mediocre to hardcore exercises every day. It is even recommended to use it for 150 to 300 minutes per week.

Should I buy a used NordicTrack C2270 Treadmill or a newer model?

If you can get the NordicTrack C2270 treadmill at a reasonable price, go for it. But the newer models of NordicTrack treadmills are more affordable and better in every way. So choose wisely.

Final Thoughts

This article is my personal experience with NordicTrack treadmills, especially the model C2270. But as unfortunate as it is, I think I could share some insights into other alternatives for the Nordictrack C2270 treadmill. You can choose your next treadmill from here or at least get an idea of which treadmill should be best for you.
